These beach houses on the beach in Vlissingen stood out because of the tight symmetrical way they were placed, against the edge of the dunes overlooking the sea.
The beauty of this photo is that the cottages are the only ones on the large beach, set sturdily against the edge of the dunes and therefore play a beautiful interplay of lines with the active sky above them.
I have edited the photo in black and white because I think the composition shows up best.
Mysterious, waiting to be inhabited.
