The work 'Skyline' depicts an impossible fantasy: sitting on a plane strip enjoying the view. With a beautiful sky in the background and a full moon. In much of my art, I want to offer people a new perspective. This work is a literal translation of that: we see two people imaginatively viewing something from a greater distance.

I am Irie Wata, a digital collage artist from Haarlem. I combine different layers of imagery with each other to create new surrealistic worlds. In doing so, I like to play with perspective, proportion and clashes in eras to create optical illusions.
