Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

The Makkumer skûtsje almost capsizes after a strong gust of wind but it just ends well. This photo has won the 2019 Public Award of the international photo competition for professional sailing photographers, the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image 2019.
