Beneath the railway tracks in Dordrecht is a skate track brimming with energy and creativity. The grey, concrete structure has been transformed into a vibrant canvas full of colourful graffiti. Each wall is covered with bold stripes, dynamic shapes and impressive artworks that reflect the raw urban atmosphere. The colours jump off the walls, while the lines of the graffiti follow the movement and rhythm of skating.
Skaters whiz along the track, the wheels of their boards echoing under the tracks. The atmosphere is lively, but also a little mysterious. Among the halfpipes and ramps, an occasional stray shoe hangs from a cable, dangling in the air. It is an elusive symbol of the culture and people who call this place home - a silent reminder of stories and moments that happened here.
The combination of the raw, industrial setting, the art of graffiti and the constant sound of skaters practising their tricks makes this skate track a unique place. It is not only a playground for skaters, but also a place where street art and culture come together in a dynamic, lively environment full of energy and character.
