About ‘Silent winter night in Amsterdam’ by Suzan Baars

The ever-busy Council House Street is deserted except for the occasional walker. Motorists have decided to stay home and only tire tracks are visible in the snow. Christmas lights illuminate the gallery and snow on the street. The street is beautifully curved and seems to have been designed to bring the Western Church into view nicely
