About the artwork

During low tide, the Wadden Sea near Moddergat reveals its jagged bottom structures. In the soft light of the setting sun, the landscape comes to life: clay ridges, mud flats and small streams of water reflect the warm colours of the sky. Here, the transition from day to night proceeds peacefully, while the horizon fades into a sea of gold, orange and soft pink hues.

The textures in the foreground lead the eye deep into the picture and give the image an almost otherworldly feel. The Wadden Sea, normally hidden under water, shows itself here in its pure, rugged form - a unique interplay of nature and tide.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
