The background is completely filled with barren yellow grass, in the desert. The background is out of focus, so the zebra stands out extra nicely.
The light is a little warm, like in the late afternoon. The sun is shining.
We see the zebra perfectly from the side, with a small light in its eye. The men between the ears stick out like a stubborn tuft.
I took the photo during one of my safari trips in Etosha, a national park in Namibia in Africa.
