This is another one of those colorful works of art moored from time to time at Park Quay in Rotterdam. A composition of sloppily applied red, white and blue paint that blends nicely with the scratches and rust spots.
The relief on this ship's bow adds to that color palette. Horizontally through the image, roughly on the golden section, runs a welding line. Finally, the distinctive mark on the right indicates that this vessel has a bulb stern, which extends forward of the bow and provides less drag.
