The rusty anchor in the locker hole. The numbers on the fluxes of the anchor the scratches in the paint on bow. The letters of the ship's name. The vents on deck of the tanker.
I like taking photos'of moored ships and sailing ships. The bow is a part of the ship which often looks battered. By raising the anchors or sometimes after colliding with the quays in ports while moored. This is still a nice classic fan bow an older ship reminiscent of the old days. The port of Amsterdam is where I regularly come to photograph and sometimes chat with the crew when they are on deck.
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. I like to photograph the images I see there because it is art in itself. The harbour is another world. The landscape of the port is always changing. The ships the people the landscape it continues to fascinate me.
