A few years ago I spent a few hours at Groningen's largest port, Eemshaven. At low tide there is a beach with basalt blocks that are submerged at high tide.
After a while a collection of shells and other things are attached to them. With the beautiful light and reflection in the then calm water it is a pleasure to watch and fantasize.
For this image I used a form of High Dynamic Range to bring out the details and colors. I also used digital brushes to soften the background and make the horizon flow nicely.
