About ‘Shell by the sea’ by Nadia Feys

On this image rests a lone shell, placed on a weathered stone on the shore. Behind her, the sea unfolds - calm, paler in colour, almost vague - and behind it, mountains rise in soft line, like silent sentinels over the water. The contrast between the delicate, detailed object in the foreground and the vast, almost abstract background gives the work both intimacy and space.

The shell shows its fragile structure: circles, ridges, subtle shadows on the surface of the stone. At the same time, the sea invites you to breathe, to let go, while the mountains with their blue-grey tones give stability and depth to the image. The composition captures a moment in which natural elements - water, stone, scale - come together in stillness.

In your interior, this work acts as visual meditation: the small detail invites you to come close, the horizon invites you to let go. It is an invitation to stand still for a moment, hear the breath, and feel the world around you bigger.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
