This cool shade of blue, known as Majorelle Blue, is a feature of the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, Morroco. The blue matches that of the cubist villa that sits within the garden. This is just one of the shady walkways that provide relief from the hot African sunshine as tourists enjoy wandering around these beautifully planted gardens featuring a range of exotic plants including bamboo and cactus. I love this look through the walkway or pergola. This is a solidly built construction with little highlights of orange that complement the blue. I also like the mosaic tiled steps, also in shades of blue. All set of, of course, by the fronds of the planting hanging down.
