About "Shadow Dancing - minimalist painted still life in black and white"

About the artwork

Shadow Dancing is the second painting in this black-and-white style with a glass as the main subject. A still life with a surreal twist. But the real subject of these paintings is of course the play of light and shadow. The slightest change in the position of the glass makes the shadows change shape, merge and perform a dance around each other, as it were.
The original work was created based on a number of different snapshots of a glass, which served as a means to study the shapes, reflections and shadows closely. From these snapshots, an entirely new image was then formed while painting.

With its subdued, hushed look, this work fits very well in a Japandi interior. But this painting can also be a nice subtle eye-catcher in classical or industrial styles.

Original works are available on the Qeimoy site.
