Tips for use

About ‘Setting sun on the North Holland coast’ by René Groeneveld

This photo was taken north of the seaside town of Hargen. You used to stand in the middle of the sea at this spot. Years ago, to reinforce the coast, a new row of dunes was raised in front of the old Hondbosche Zeewering. This has now created a new beach with dunes between Hargen and Petten.

De laatste jaren fotografeer ik met name landschappen in de omgeving van mijn woonplaats Alkmaar. Daar vind je aan de oostkant het beroemde polderlandschap en aan de westkant de breedste duinen van ons land en natuurlijk de Noordzee. Kortom, een prachtige streek voor schitterende foto's van landschappen.
