Two characteristic towers of Breda and a setting sun. It seems so easy. But the sun is only in the right place for a few weeks a year to make this image. And then the weather has to cooperate a bit as well.
Often it fails, sometimes you get lucky.
Like today... As the sun gets lower and lower in the sky, some sparse clouds move across the horizon. This creates a picturesque scene, with the towers of St Anthony's Cathedral and the Great Church standing out like a silhouette.
In the details are the surprises. Church bells lit up just a bit by the low sun, a bird on a roof, the warm glow illuminating the base of the tower....
All in all, a jewel of a sunset, not to be missed on the wall.
