The serene silence of early morning. The lifeless moon that has been orbiting the earth for billions of years shines through the still bare branches of the living tree, preparing for a new year. For billions of years, the moon has seen nothing really happening, while the earth is bustling with all life. In the east, the sun rises and in the west, this waning moon moves slowly towards the horizon before setting quickly. The spring sky is otherwise virtually cloudless. A new day is about to begin. And on the moon, nothing is still happening.
