Judith Leyster (Haarlem, July 1609 - Heemstede, buried 10 February 1660) was a 17th century Dutch painter who specialised mainly in genre pieces. As one of the few female painters in the Low Countries during the Golden Age, she was also the only female member of the Haarlem painters' guild. Judith Leyster specialised in genre painting.
