A beautiful grey seal on the North Sea beach. The grey seal is the largest predator living in the southern North Sea. Adult males can grow up to 3 metres long. On average, a grey seal lives to be 20 to 30 years old. Females live longer than males. A female seal can live up to 46 years, while the male lives up to 30 years. 2 species of seals live in the Wadden Sea, namely the common and grey seal.
