On the boat to Texel, the gulls flew with us, hoping to score a tasty snack. I had bought my own bread and I kept throwing it at the gulls. The bread in one hand and my camera in the other. This was tricky, though, because I was often too late with prints. Then I asked other people on the boat to throw the bread for me and this was the perfect solution. I now got a good view of the seagulls and had enough time to take a picture. I wanted to create an abstract image where the wing beats came into focus nicely. I did this by using a slow shutter speed. In post-processing, I enhanced the image a little more. This work will look very nice on both dark and light walls.
