About ‘Scottish Highlander Portrait’ by Monique Folkerts

This Scottish Highlander was quietly grazing in the grass near the Deelerwoud hiking area in the Veluwezoom (between Arnhem and Apeldoorn). He/she (who's to say) was lying close to the footpath, as if 's eager to get his/her picture taken!

Through the photo you feel the a connection with this beautiful animal.
I opted for a black-and-white edit here, because I think this gives the photo even more of a frame and gives an even deeper connection to the image.

Matching any interior in your home, it is a perfect and beautiful picture to hang in the living room, for example.

Hi, I am Monique Folkerts, living in beautiful Amersfoort. I mainly shoot nature photography, I love going outside for this. During a nice walk, my camera is always with me, and I get inspired by what I see around me!
The passion of photography was there from an early age, I used to travel to Kenya with my father's analogue camera. After that, I used his digital camera several times before I had my own.
I also do pet photography.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
