In the middle of the tall grass, surrounded by gently rustling trees and under a sky of muted black and white, it stands like an apparition from another time: a Scottish Highland cow, powerful and peaceful at the same time. The long, curved horns rise into the sky like symbols of originality, the thick, shaggy coat looks like a cloak of nature itself. His gaze, directly into the camera, is calm - not demanding, but knowing. Almost as if it were saying: "I am part of something bigger."
The nature reserve in Bünde is ennobled by his presence. The animal is no stranger to this harsh but honest environment - it belongs here, living in harmony with the wind, weather and earth. The other members of the species, barely visible in the background, reinforce the feeling of community - a silent herd, united by unspoilt nature.
This motif speaks of dignity, of being connected to the earth and of a respect that goes beyond words. The cattle stand there like a monument to serenity - a creature that neither knows haste nor needs the hectic pace of our world. It lives to the rhythm of the landscape.
