Scottish Highland Cattle is an ancient breed of cattle that was originally found only in Scotland and the Hebrides. Since targeted cattle breeding was practiced in Great Britain, i.e. for about 200 years, this breed has existed in unchanged form and without cross-breeding of foreign blood.
With its decorative horns that can reach up to 1.60 (and even more)wingspan and its exceptionally long hair, it captivates every observer.
With its long fur it is absolutely winterproof. Rain and wind can not penetrate through the natural fur, even snow remains on the insulated coat.
