Schiermonnikoog's red lighthouse captured in beautiful evening light. A beacon for boaters, but also for walkers on beautiful Schiermonnikoog.
In post-processing, I wanted to set the lighthouse even more apart than it naturally is by making the red of the tower stand out against the blue sky and a decoloured foreground.
Depth and atmosphere were brought into the photo by the blurred beach grass in the foreground. Also, can you already see the long shadows of autumn on the path ?
