This little bird hopped among the grass less than 3 meters as we stood at the observation point on Elsberg in the Veluwe.
This was early in the morning half an hour after sunrise in late August early September.
Actually we came for the deer, as the rut was starting, but I couldn't let this one hop by.
It was a little difficult to focus through the grass, but eventually succeeded.
Other people who were looking with binoculars did not see this bird, which proves that the beauty can also pass right under your nose.
