Discover ScanZ_18 abstract art, a new chapter in my ongoing SCANZ series. This work builds on the experiments of ScanZ_16, but places a stronger emphasis on colour contrasts, composition and layering. Using a mobile scanner, I capture everyday fragments - textures, surfaces and objects - and rearrange them into rhythmic, abstract images. What seems recognisable at first is disrupted and rebuilt into a visual play of lines and structures.
Where ScanZ_16 was all about spontaneous findings, ScanZ_18 brings more focus and control. The manual scanning method exposes microscopic details that normally go unnoticed, bringing intuition and precision together in one image.
The SCANZ series is all about reinterpretation and sustainability: everyday materials are transformed into new visual worlds. ScanZ_18 also invites us to look differently - to see beauty in the small, used and often ignored.
This work is printed on high-quality materials and appears in a limited edition. This makes ScanZ_18 abstract art a strong addition for lovers of conceptual photography and modern abstract art.
