About ‘Sand dunes on the Balloërveld’ by Bernard van Zwol
Sand dunes on the Balloërveld. The only place where they are clearly visible. Grown with heather and shaped by the wind. Lots of rain and wind have flattened the sand and worn down the sides of the dunes. This part of the field gives it a nice accent.

I was born in Leens in Groningen and moved around a lot. Meanwhile we, my wife and I live in Assen. The children are out the door. I have been working with photography since I was 16 years old. First with a Ricoh 35 ZF , later switched to SLR camera's of Praktica and Olympus ( analogue ) and now for many years Nikon. I like to make yearbooks of the format 30 x 30. The camera always goes with me when I am out and about.
