Side view of the head of a saltwater crocodile with detailed elaboration of the scales and teeth. The colour gradient and transition from light to dark gradually extends from the underside of the animal until the colour almost matches the background. A proven means of camouflage in nature for predators and prey. Painted with Schmincke watercolours on Hahnemühle "Britannia" paper.
