About ‘Sakrisøy, Lofoten, Norway’ by Marion Stoffels

Sakrisøy is a small fishing village in the municipality of Moskenes. It is located on the eastern side of the island of Moskenesøya. It is a small island located between Hamnøy and Reine. The island is connected to Moskenøy by several bridges.

The photo was taken on a sunny afternoon during winter. The old glow of the sun falls beautifully on the typical yellow Norwegian houses. With iconic pointed mountains in the snow behind, this makes for a beautiful photo of the village.

Yellow houses in Norway, alongside the well-known red fishermen's huts, are a traditional and popular feature of the landscape, often used to make houses stand out.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
