About "Sailing to the horizon"

About the artwork

This photo composition was created by merging several photos. The base photo shows a serene water feature, enriched with hills added later. My intention with this composition was to capture a unique atmosphere, inspired by the beauty of a watery landscape combined with undulating hills.

The base of the image, the water landscape, exudes peace and calm. The water reflects the sky and creates a sense of space and openness. Adding hills to the water landscape creates a dynamic contrast and a sense of depth. These hills bring vibrancy to the image, making the landscape not only visually appealing but also intriguing.

The combination of water and hills invites the viewer on an enchanting journey through the landscape. This fusion of elements creates a harmonious whole that is both soothing and captivating. The choice to add hills to the water landscape allowed me to explore contrasts and add a sense of dynamism and depth to the image. This results in an intriguing landscape that invites further exploration and contemplation.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
