About ‘Sahara’ by Koos SOHNS (KoSoZu-Photography)

This part of the desert in Morocco is called the Red Dunes because of the red color of the sand. Because of the very fine sand (sahara sand) the ridges formed by the wind are always visible. The wind even blows this very fine sand to the Netherlands and you sometimes see it on the car (after you have just washed it).

Zutphen, Netherlands

Koos Sohns (1950) is a Dutch Hobby photographer from Zutphen. His first holiday job was at a photo finishing plant, where he earned his first Praktica SLR camera. Through study, work, family and volunteer work, photography was somewhat pushed into the background.
Later, and especially after his retirement, photography was fully taken up again.

Because of his work and travels he came throughout the Netherlands and abroad, so he frequently saw the beautiful things…
