An extraordinary basilica in Barcelona designed by Antonio Gaudi. Construction began in 1882 and is still unfinished. The interior of the church looks nothing like what you are used to seeing in churches. Beautiful floral ornaments decorate the ceiling and vaults. The basilica is built so that the incoming sunlight creates a veritable explosion of colours. I just walked around here in wonder with my head up! We were lucky that the sun shone beautifully inside, first to my left and then to my right.
