About "STARS COME OVER THE SEA"

About the artwork

This painting was inspired by a very special memory of a summer by the sea, where every night was magical.The protagonist is a young girl in beautiful nightwear standing on the beach and looking at the horizon as the stars appear.It is a moment that feels like it is stuck in time, as the warmth of the setting sun gives way to the cool, endless sky.
I wanted to explore the emotions that come with scenes like this, such as nostalgia for childhood, the wonder of discovering the great mysteries of the world and the sad realisation of how small we are in the grand scheme of things.The girl is just fearless and I want the viewer to reflect on their own moments of stillness and connection with the universe.
The way I have played with light and shadow and warm and cool is to make you gently reflect on how resilient and innocent we all are, even if we have forgotten that by the time we reach adulthood.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
