There is a huge leather factory in Oirschot. I mean a place where they processed leather goods. The huge complex is now abandoned. Once a year, a handful of photographers are allowed inside to capture the dilapidated beauty. The site is well shielded from casual visitors, as its historical value is great.
The compositions in the work of Gerard Oonk are highly stylized. The main subject of the photographs is immediately recognizable.
