About the artwork
"Rural Panorama: A fluff ball of a Dandelion" is a macro photo I took of a large fluff ball of a common Dandelion.
Because some of the fluff is already out of this dandelion, in the background you can vaguely see the heart of the fluff ball where the fluff is trapped.
The focus is on the front fluff, the further back you look, the fainter the dandelion becomes. I did this to provide a sense of depth in the work. If you zoom in, you can see this clearly. You can also see right away how detailed the front fluff is.
For many people, the Dandelion is a weed; I think it is a beautiful flower, with an even more beautiful ball of fluff. These fluff and fluff balls create countless possibilities to photograph, every photo of a fluff ball leads me to a new idea for a new photo.
