About ‘'Royal' spiral staircase’ by Frans Nijland
An almost royal spiral staircase in a government building in Antwerp Belgium. The 13-story building opened in 1882 and housed a telephone company. In 2010 it was renovated and now houses the largest administrative office of the municipality of Antwerp.

My name is Frans Nijland, I am an amateur photographer and I live in Delden Overijssel. For years my great passion was urbex photography, capturing the decay of abandoned buildings. For this many trips have been made in a large part of Europe. Over the years my interest has broadened to include nature photography, architecture and urban photography. I hope you enjoy my photos.
Sincerely, Frans Nijland.
