This image shows the street view of the Royal Pavilion Tavern in Brighton, Sussex, England. Originally called the Royal Pavilion Hotel, the Royal Pavilion Tavern in Brighton is also known as the Pavilion Tavern and the Pav Tav. It is one of Brightons oldest public houses (pubs). It has an interesting history as it was converted from a house in the 19th Century and even acted as a court for a while. (As a teenager I and a group of friends were barred from the pub when my friends Mum was rude to a barman - true story!). A Grade II listed building it was redesigned as a hotel and public house by local architect Amon Henry Wilds.
