The rugged rocks of the cliffs on Portugal's Atlantic coast shape the rough character of this landscape. Exposed to the waves and wind, they show the power of waves and wind. Individual rocks are washed by the surf. Again and again, the waves crash on the rocks, causing the spray to rise metres high. The water is turquoise and the spray gives it white crowns.
