About ‘Rotterdam port area’ by Greetje van Son

Looking for water and an interesting background, I ended up at Rotterdam in the port area. The beautifully shaped concrete moorings made an ideal foreground. The tall modern architecture across the water was a welcome addition to the composition.
It was very windy that day. Perfect for my purpose of using a long shutter speed. This made the clouds fan attractively through the image and the undulating water became uniformly smooth.
A Rotterdam lover will love having this image in his room/office.
