An almost abstract image, yet one that will be instantly recognisable to most Rotterdammers. We see the glass façade of Central Station, with the big clock indicating five (or is it already six?) past two.
The city reflects in the glass, especially the Calypso complex, which looks even more whimsical in the reflection than in real life.
Through the glass shimmers the large video screen in the hall, but what can be seen on it, due to the interference between the refresh rate and the shutter speed, remains a mystery.
My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.
