It's like looking up from under the water surface at two things that make Rotterdam's Wijnhaveneiland so special: historic ships and modern buildings.
From left to right we see the residential towers 100 Hoog, The Muse and Casanova and on the far right the building of the Hogeschool that houses the Wilem de Kooning academy. Together with the ships it provides a very colorful image.
In reality, of course, the photo was taken from the quay, but on this almost windless spring day the almost wrinkle-free surface in the Wijnhaven gave new meaning to the term "water mirror".
My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.
