Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Rotterdam Power: An Urban Spectacle of Light and Air’ by Anthony Malefijt

Capture the raw, untamed energy of Rotterdam with this spectacular cityscape. This photograph shows the city at its most powerful: during a dramatic twilight, where a dark, cloudy sky lends the skyline an almost cinematic depth. It is an image full of contrasts, in which the cool blue hues of the evening are pierced by the city’s fiery energy.

The iconic Erasmus Bridge forms the radiant centrepiece, whilst in the background the high-rises of the Kop van Zuid — with the recognisable blocks of De Rotterdam — glow golden. But the real eye-catcher is the dynamism in the foreground. The long exposure has transformed the evening rush hour into a river of light; bright, orange and white light trails from the traffic cut through the image and draw the eye straight into the bustling city.

This piece is an ode to the constant movement of Rotterdam. It is the perfect wall decoration for those who love architecture with an edge and the unmistakable ‘vibe’ of a global city. Whether you have a modern loft or an office that needs to radiate inspiration, this photograph brings the heartbeat of Rotterdam straight into your space.

Available on materials that enhance the intensity of this image, such as acrylic glass for a deep colour experience or aluminium for an industrial, sleek look.
