About the artwork

In Rose and Rebel, Henk Adriani brings together two worlds in one hypnotic image: the beauty of nature and the raw power of the human body. The deep black background highlights a tattooed female figure, partly hidden, partly visible - a symbol of mystery, self-expression and inner struggle.

Like an unexpected encounter, a fresh, dew-covered rose traverses the image. Its freshness and colour contrast sharply with the woman's monochrome strength. But instead of collision, balance emerges. The rose becomes not a disturbance but an extension of the figure - a gentle whisper in a world of hard lines. The thorns and leaves seem almost protective around her, as if she is cherishing her own vulnerability.

Adriani plays with duality here: strength and tenderness, life and art, man and nature. This work is not only visually strong, but also deeply emotionally charged. It invites reflection on identity, beauty and the layers that shape us.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
