About the artwork

This photo was taken on the coast of Essaouira in Morocco, as the sun slowly sets. The light is soft and warm, and the sky turns golden yellow with a hint of orange. In the centre of the photo, you can see the calm, rippling waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The water reflects the sun's light, giving an almost dreamlike atmosphere to the scene.

In the foreground is the rocky coastline. The rocks are dark in colour and stand out nicely against the clear water. A pair of birds fly slowly through the image. Their silhouettes give a sense of movement and calm at the same time. The combination of the light, the birds and the coast makes it a romantic image of evening in Morocco.

The picture was taken in Essaouira, a city known for its seaside location, old medina and lively atmosphere. Yet this moment mostly exudes tranquillity. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
