A Victorian bouquet/flower arrangement as if from 19th century.
It is well known that red roses represent love, but there is also a hidden language of flowers!
This beautiful language originated with the early Victorians, who carefully composed each bouquet to incorporate a message.
With each flower comes a specific occasion, emotion or charge: such as the honeysuckle for devotion, azaleas for passion and tulips as an expression of love.
In this work:
Single double roses, ranunculus and lilacs.
The ranunculus symbolises laughter in love, cheerfulness, and fond memories.
Details:
Watercolour effect
Colours:
Romantic deep pastel colours in dark blue borders
