A sense of timelessness is experienced when watching the ever-rolling waves on the beach. For centuries this goes on. The crests of the waves are picked up by the wind and thrown back.
The photo was taken on the island of Lewis and Harris on Scotland's west coast. The location is Dal Beag on the northwest coast of the island.
