Rolling Dunes and Pine Forest – Lommel’s Sahara Panorama

by Kristof Leffelaer

This sweeping panorama captures the tranquil beauty of the Lommel Sahara in North Limburg. In the foreground, you can see the characteristic small sand dunes that give this area its name, surrounded by the dense, protective forests of Bosland. The photo was taken near the famous ‘De Reus’ observation tower, which offers a unique perspective on the natural layering of the landscape.

The composition brings a sense of space and freedom to any room. The soft, earthy colours of the sand contrast harmoniously with the various shades of green of the pine trees, creating a soothing colour palette that works well in many interior styles. Thanks to its exceptionally high resolution, this work is ideally suited for XL prints. Every detail, from the texture of the sand to the fine needles of the trees on the horizon, is rendered with crystal-clear clarity.

Bring the serene atmosphere of one of Flanders’ most beautiful nature reserves into your home. This panorama is not just a decorative piece, but a window onto unspoilt nature. Ideal for the living room, a modern office space or a bedroom where tranquillity is key. Available on various high-quality materials such as acrylic glass, canvas and metal.
