The robin, identified by its red/orange breast can be quite aggressive in protecting its territory. They are common in forests, parks, gardens and the countryside and eat mostly seeds but also insects they catch. It is a nice little bird to see.

My name is Merijn Loch. Since a number of years I have discovered travelling, where I have been able to stay in beautiful areas. Because you want to reminisce about your travels I bought a camera to shoot some nice pictures. It soon turned out that I really liked photography and especially nature and animals. Since then I also started to discover beautiful areas in the Netherlands and I found it more and more fun to spot animals.
