The robin (Erithacus Rubecula) has a round head and fairly long legs. The robin has a distinctive orange-red throat and breast, hence the name robin. Its upper face is brown and its belly dirty white. Furthermore, it has large dark eyes. It has an upright sitting posture. The young is completely mottled and it lacks the red throat. In autumn, it looks like an adult robin.
