About ‘Road to the Half Dome’ by Peter Hendriks

This photo, taken from Glacier Point, shows the iconic Half Dome, one of Yosemite National Park's most recognisable silhouettes, seen from a unique perspective along the road. The asphalt, marked with the bright yellow lines, appears to lead to the massive granite dome itself. The nearby Yosemite Falls, the highest waterfall in North America, and the lush green valleys stretching to the Merced River, add to the overwhelming scenery offered by this national treasure. This point also offers a view of the impressive El Capitan and offers adventurers the chance to follow the Mist Trail or undertake the challenging climb to the top of Half Dome. This photo invites viewers to make the journey, to experience the breathtaking views in person, and to feel the connection with nature that only Yosemite can offer. The photo would be a wonderful addition in any home or office, a constant reminder of the grandeur of nature and the adventure that awaits us just outside our front door.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
