The Icefields Parkway is the most famous road through the Rocky Mountains. The tourist route runs parallel to part of the Continental Divide, the ridge that divides the North American continent into two parts. The Icefields Parkway runs 230 kilometres through Jasper National Park to Lake Louise, in Banff National Park.
